It is a spectacular trip routing the historical traces of Hindu along Java Island that finally takes its ground in Bali.

The ruins of Majapahit Kingdom, the largest Hindu empire founded in 1294, with its capital of Trowulan, figure out to whar degree the Hinduism has scratched its influence on Javanese present life. The ruins remain like a huge museum spreading over a large landscape. Bajang Ratu, the pretty under-ground temple of Candi Tikus, Kolam Segaran, and Siti Hinggil are parts of interesting historical sites.

Heading east would take you into a natural circumstance fully colored by Hindu mystical atmosphere at the mountainside of Mt Bromo. there is perhaps no other volcanic terrain in the world hat can compare with East Java spectacular Tengger region. At the center of the upland massif lies an ancient lava sand measuring 10 Km in diameter. The powerful volcano, Bromo , with its smoldering mound of cinder and ash, rises up in a desolate landscape surrounded by craggy peaks. There is a strange end of the world feeling particularly at sunrise. Down the mountain, with its crater within crater, live the Tenggeresse whose history can be traced back to the rule og Hindu – Majapahit Empire. Early morning trip will be of one fully challenging one.

Going Further to east is nothing disappointing. Among all destinations of this region, there an awe-inspiring view of a lake, Ijen, is presented. Ijen plateau, a complex of 134 square km, is dormant and dominated by volcanic cones of Ijen, Merapi and Raung. its crater has a magnificent turquoise sulfur lake. The carter lake is almost surrounded by sheer walls. The prohibition againts noise around this unspoilt area growa something haunted feeling completely contradicting to its spectacular panorama.
