SILVER LESSON (3 Days 2 Nights)

Day 1: TRANSFER IN – BOROBUDUR (LUNCH)
Welcome to Yogyakarta. We will pick you from the Adisucipto Airport or Tugu Train Station. Your first day in Yogyakarta starts with a breathtaking trip to the biggest Buddhist temple in the world: Candi Borobudur and to the other 2 lesser temples: Mendut and Pawon. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, after which we will take you back the hotel for a leisure time of your own (free schedule).

Day 2: CITY TOUR – SILVER MAKING LESSON – ANDONG (B,L)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit KRATON (the Sultan’s Palace), Taman Sari water palace, and to see how the Batiks are made. After lunch at Sekar Kedhaton – a well preserved olf building with Javanese & European architecture, we will take a traditional horse carriage (Andong) to visit a silver making studio. For 3 hours we will learn from an instructor how to make accessories, form designing, molding, cutting and forming the silver into beautiful accessories that you take home as your own, self-made souvenirs.

Day 3: PRAMBANAN – TRANSFER OUT (B)
After breakfast, we will visit Prambanan, a Hindu temple, famous for its Roro Jongrang legend. We will then take you to your point of departure from Yogyakarta: either the Adisucipto airport or the Tugu train station.
